July has been such an eventful month for me, and surprisingly, in all the right ways! So, before we dive into with you. I finally, after many, many, billions of years of searching, found my own little house and had my offer all things arty, let’s have a little catch-up.

Firstly, I had the best news this month, which I can’t wait to share with you. I finally, after many, many, billions of years of searching, found my own little house and had my offer accepted (screams!). Currently, I’m buried under a mountain of paperwork, trying tokeep some sort of order with a sticky note system. But the thought of having a corner ofthe house decorated as my own cute little art studio keeps me going. I also feel like I’llbe able to do lots of live drawings once I move in, as I won’t have any noisy boys around.

Secondly, I had my birthday! It was very, very hot, but overall it was such a lovely day. Istarted off by taking myself to Cirencester for breakfast pancakes at a very pink, girlie café, where I did some drawing. The café was completely empty inside, which was so relaxing, and the Bueno-flavoured pancakes were incredible. Afterwards, I treated myself to the last Heartstopper book, which I’m yet to read. I feel a bit sad about sayinggoodbye to the story. Is that weird? Has anyone else felt like that? But I will read it, and I’ll watch the final film soon because I’m sure spoilers will start creeping around social media before long.

Now, the third thing that happened this month, which is pretty exciting, is that I started my own weekly sketchbook challenges. I post them every Sunday to be completed by the following Saturday, and they’ve been so much fun! They’ve really pushed me out ofmy comfort zone and helped me create some pieces that I’m really proud of. I wanted to create something that would bring artists together and build a little sketchbook community. Hopefully, as time goes on, it’ll continue to grow!

I have noticed that, with my personal life being so busy, I haven’t been taking care of my portfolio or my poor little Etsy shop. I’m hoping that once I’ve moved out and all thepaperwork is behind me, I’ll have some time to show them both some love. For now, I want to carry on drawing in my sketchbook, making more drawing vlogs (because I’ve actually loved doing them), and growing my little community.
