Peachtober 2026

We made it!

Another October challenge completed, and I did it without missing a single day! AND I had a piece of my work reposted by the official Peachtober Instagram page (internal scream).

Now, this might seem like a little thing to some people, but for me, it was a very exciting morning when I woke up and saw that. It meant my work had been shared with an account that has 91.2k followers, so that's a pretty big crowd of people who could potentially see my work!

Funnily enough, it came at the perfect time for me, which I feel always seems to be the case. It was a time when I was questioning myself and whether this was a challenge I would continue next year. I wasn't reaching many people's feeds, my average like count wasn't particularly high, and I even seemed to have lost a few followers.

Imposter syndrome started to creep in, and I wondered whether my taste and artwork just weren't that good...Then I got reposted, the likes started flowing in, and I gained some new followers.

So, I guess the lesson here is: don't doubt yourself. Your time will come, whether it's in a little way or through a big opportunity.

The piece that was shared was for the prompt Stardust, and it was one where I just let myself go without thinking too much about it. I simply had fun creating it, and I think that's sometimes when the best ideas come to life.

Below are all the pieces I created, including the shining star that gave me a little hope again.

Until next month!
